INSIGHT
It is costly to deliver food.
Delivery fees are determined by demand and other factors like weather. High delivery fees influence the variety of food that a user can get. HoodFood brings delivery fees down by splitting delivery fees through joining open orders or creating your own order list. Delivery fees are shared amongst all users in the same order.
INSIGHT
Group ordering is highly manual and can be frustrating.
The process involves the need to collect individual orders and then sort payment out within a group manually. The private list feature provides a shareable link that allows each member of a group to place and pay for their order using their own app. This removes the manual work of collating orders and calculating payment.
