Supporting Forms redesign
CONTEXT
FormSG is a form builder used by public officers, it allows public officers to collect data from citizens in a secure way.
FormSG was in the midst of its redesign when I joined the team, there was a need to support the engineers in reviewing UI quickly. Besides UI reviews, there was a need to strategise for the rollout of the new version.
MY ROLE
I was one of two designers on the team. My work involved supporting the redesign and conceptualising the multi-language feature. Supporting the redesign involved working closely across functions to strategise the rollout and implement designs.

Getting Form admins excited about the new FormSG
For our rollout, I designed in-app announcements and feature tours to ensure form admins were informed of the biggest changes to Forms and were guided through it.
DESIGNING PAGES
Thank You page
One of the pages that I built for the redesign was the Thank You page. This was the page that users will see when they successfully submitted a form.
COLLABORATING WITH ENGINEERS
Supporting the Design-Engineering handoff
An efficient workflow built on Chromatic sped up production of the new version. The Forms team enhanced the development workflow by making use of chromatic to ship UIs. This increased the speed of UI reviews and made communication between engineers and designers clearer and more effective.
